For those with a steady hand. It's sharp. It cuts. It shaves.
This vintage straight razor was made by CARUSO. The other side of the blade is marked JOE SAVERO - 271 VITROL BLVD. S.I. - M.I. GERMANY. This is an unusual mark. This razor may have been made for this particular person or Savero was the distributor.
The handle is yellow celluloid with Art Nouveau silvertone end caps. There's a little bit of edge wear near the top of the celluloid at the blade edge. The blade is stainless steel with a well-honed smooth edge.
Folded, the razor measures 6 1/4 inches long. Opened up, it measures 9 1/2 inches long.
The razor has no 'stop'. It swings both ways so if using it to shave, you'd have to keep your finger on the end groove.
The razor is in very good vintage condition. It comes in a taped up razor box that has a different name on it. Box was a good protector of the razor.
