Bubbles bubbles everywhere. The Art Deco era had a penchant for clear, floating-in-the-air bubbles and lots of pretty women playing with them...or in this case, wearing them.

This genuine clear glass bubbles celluloid necklace is the last of a bubble-popping breed. Most didn't survive because the bubbles were made of blown glass and well, you know what happens to fragile glass after 80+ years. In this case...NOTHING. It's still intact and delicate and lovely and wonderful.

Six glass bubbles hang from their original clear celluloid chain. It measures 16 inches long. The bubbles and chain are about 1 1/8 inches long. The clasp is also celluloid (or applejuice Bakelite). You'll have to hook it over the brass ring gingerly so it stays intact. It has just enough flex to get itself hooked.

Overall, this fantastic necklace is still in wearable very good condition. Treat it like a baby and you'll enjoy it for another 80+ years.
(Note - those non necklace images are just to show you how popular bubblemania was.)
