Here's a big, bold mid-century delightful set that's got Modernist triangle shaped links that have Brutalist textured surfaces. The thick silvertone links are prong set with faceted glass navette rhinestones in yellow and orange. These were very popular colors in the 1960s and we know because everything in our first kitchen was yellow and orange. Definitely a cheery combination for not-quite-hippie newlyweds.
The necklace measures 16 inches around with a secure foldover clasp. The triangles are 1 1/2 inches long. The stones are set with open backs.
The matching screwback earrings are 1 1/8 inches across by 2 1/8 inches long with the post. Since the posts are plain, you can easily convert these for pierced ears by adding a wire post.
This fun bold set is unmarked. It's well made and in excellent vintage condition. All the stones are intact. The connecting links are a bit darker than the triangles...just made that way for a little contrast. The colors worked well in the 1960s. Still do.
