Lovely antique pair of Georgian or early Victorian era Vauxhall glass or as it is sometimes known French Jet earrings. Black was "de rigeur" for Victorian mourning jewelry in the 1800's as made popular by Queen Victoria. Today Victorian earrings in particular are highly sought after. These are lovely and feature a very feminine design that has a type of sunburst motif. There is some minor deficiencies to a couple of the stones, see pictures. But the small amount of loss is hardly noticeable when worn and could easily be filled in. They measure 7/8" long and 9/16" wide. A pretty pair of antique earrings that date from 1830-1840.
