This porcelain figurine is absolutely superb. Very desirable piece from the late Art Deco era. This girl is the epitomy of the carefree girls of the Deco era. A beauty in her bathing suit.. just look at the diaphanous nature of her suit, revealing her curvaceous femininity. She has a sexy figure and wavy bobbed hair that is platinum blonde to match her suit. Her waist is nipped in with a blue ribbon that matches her eyes and she is barefoot! Look at those graceful fingers. Her skin is done in a matte texture for realism and her suit, hair and base are glossy for a nice contrast. She is delicately modeled and absolutely beautiful. It doesn't get much better than this. Amazing grace to her pose. She was designed by Kurt Steiner (signed on base) and manufactured by the German porcelain firm , Schaubach Kunst. Circa 1930's, she measures 12" high and is just amazing. Perfectly beautiful and in excellent condition. The vent hole for firing is visible just under the bow in the back.
