This is part of a nice collection of fine antiques and jewelry from a local estate that I will be offering for sale in the next few weeks. If you love Chinese Deco jewelry, this bracelet is for you! This is a very pretty antique Chinese enameled silver filigree bracelet with four genuine oxblood colored carnelian cabochons. Each of the large stones measure approximately 19 mm by 15 mm. The bracelet is quite substantial in weight and size. It is composed of six raised hinged filigree sections that have lovely enamel floral details. The bracelet is not marked and this shows that it is an antique piece circa 1900. Silver mesh over copper as was the case with antique pieces. It measures 7 1/4" from end to end and 1" wide. Tongue and groove box clasp. Weight is 43.6 grams. It has been well loved and show some wear to the silver on the reverse and some of the stones show light wear to silver in places. This is after all a genuine Chinese antique, not a later copy.
