Fine early Meiji period Satsuma earthenware pottery vase of magnificent size, measuring 13" high and 9" in diameter. (1890-1910) The moriage design depicting the immortals with halos and one female in all her grandeur on one side. She is on a throne and is shown holding a lotus flower. Superb example with lots of interest here. Beautiful baluster shape. Fine condition with normal age crazing and some wear to gold gilding. Displays beautifully. A nice antique example for your collection. Signed with old Nippon mark and cartouche on bottom and royal mon on neck.
