Very dear tiny doll circa 1915, costumed from the region of Hesse, Germany, this 5.5 inch sweetie is all original and in excellent condition. Her perfect painted-bisque head is incised Germany 390 15 0 and she was made by Armand Marseille. Dressed for everyday, this young girl's costume is colorful and very well made in cotton with ribbon trim and a ruffled organdy collar. She comes from the original family, non-smoking home.
Black factory set glass eyes have grey shadowing under arched brows, cheeks are rosy and her teeny closed mouth has a hint of smile. Brunette wig is a twist of mohair wrapped around her head. Perfect composition body is jointed at neck, shoulders and hips, with molded painted low heel one strap shoes and cream stockings. There are no damages and no repairs. (w)
