20" Kling 128 Parian doll having molded blonde hair decorated with a molded black comb and blue glass paperweight eyes, circa 1870. Exposed ears with lovely gold enamel earrings.
The wide shoulder plate has 3 sew holes, front and back. The shapely antique cloth body has sewn jointing at the hip and knee, as well as leather lower arms. The doll wears an antique blue and white checked cotton dress with red trim, perfectly styled for her age. She has antique red leather shoes and cotton stockings, as well as antique underclothes.
Incised on the back of her shoulder-plate "128 and a 7". There is a tiny chip on the back and the front of her shoulder-plate that we will show in a picture. The chip on the back also has a very tiny 1/8" hairline going up from it. Almost impossible to see in a picture as you do have to use a magnifier to see it.
From a non smoking environment.
