This 7.5" German all-bisque googly is adorable! She is attributed to Hertel and Schwab and is circa 1915.
She has a tiny repair on her right hand. All-bisque body, chubby face and tummy, side-glancing blue glass eyes, painted upper and lower eyelashes, and closed smiling watermelon mouth. She has rosy cheeks and short blonde mohair wig. She is marked on the back of her head with 218 18 and what looks like 18 inside the arms but it is hard to tell.
The inside of the legs are covered with leather at the joints. Her legs have white molded socks and she has black one-strap molded shoes. She has no damage and no repair.
Wearing a antique dress with matching bonnet, panties, and human hair wig.
Just a delightful little doll to add to your collection! Circa 1915 and from a smoke-free environment. Every collection needs a googly.
