A 21" charming antique untinted bisque parian doll, Germany circa 1880's. Although unmarked, she is surely by Alt, Beck & Gottschalck with their typical large blue eyes having a dark outline, and small mouth with dark center line. The well painted eyebrows are especially expressive on this model. The solid dome head has deep modeling on the shoulderplate.
The cloth body is antique with lower leather arms and lower legs of printed fabric suggesting stockings, and black cloth shoes. Her antique 1880's printed cotton dress, petticoat and pantalettes, plus her flower decorated straw hat are all antique. An auburn wig matches her eyebrows, making for a very appealing young lady who will sit nicely in any chair her new owner provides for her.
No damage and no repair to the bisque, and the body in excellent condition and from a non smoking environment
