Antique 15 Inch Baby Bo-Kaye Doll designed by Joseph Kallus for Borgfeldt c1920
In the 1920's, Borgfeldt distributed a doll called "Baby Bo-Kaye" that was designed by American artist Joseph Kallus. The model is 1394/34. This doll has no damage and no repair and is in her original cloth and composition baby body. The solid dome head is marked, "Copr. By J.L. Kallus Germany 1394/34" and has brown painted hair the is sculpted low onto the forehead, blue glass sleep eyes, lightly tinted eyebrows, accented nostrils, open mouth with bow shaped lips, and plump rosy cheeks. This doll is wearing a white christening type baby gown and has antique underwear. It's a wonderful example of a rare character doll.
Joseph Kallus also designed Kewpies and rose to fame working alongside Rose O'Neill.

No damage and no repair everything is correct !!
