7" Antique German Bisque Child Doll Little Girl with Molded Boots with a flange neck and a swivel head. Unknown Maker
What a fun German bisque doll. She is just waiting to charm her way into your cabinet. With her petite 7" size, she promises she will slip in unnoticed and not make a fuss!
This is an interesting doll and we do not know the maker. She is strung differently than you might be used to seeing. Her head is jointed at the neck and comes off by lifting up and is attached with a rod dowel and a pin that sticks down into the dowel attached to her body
This is a solid dome head doll that has no markings, no damage, and no repairs. She has blue glass set eyes, long braided blond mohair wig, closed mouth in slight smiling expression, and wonderful rosy cheeks. Her child body is composition with original finish. Her black molded boots with red accents for buttons are the best!
Wearing an intricately crocheted dress with ruffles around the torso and perfect-for-a-day-at-the-boardwalk with a bonnet. From a smoke free environment. Circa 1900
