This 18" is a beautiful unmarked French fashion early pressed bisque doll, most likely by Eugene Barrois, of Paris France.
This company supplied doll heads to many French doll makers including Jumeau, Bru and Steiner. Measuring 18" tall, the doll has no damage and no repairs.
She has cobalt blue set glass eyes, upper and lower painted eyelashes, accent on nose and eye corners, brushstroke eyebrows, blushed cheeks, and closed mouth with slight smile.
She has a cork pate and auburn mohair wig.
This doll is on a gusseted kid leather body that is in good condition for its age with only some darkening on her arms that you can see in the photos.
Wearing a burgundy velvet, and silk striped dress with full set of antique cotton undergarments. This lovely doll is circa 1870 and is from a smoke free environment.
