26" Ultra Rare French Bisque Character Doll 225 by Emile Jumeau Art Character Series
WOW! This is a doll that doesn't come along often - a rare character doll by Emile Jumeau, mold 225.This doll, circa 1892, was the final model of Jumeaus art character series.
The doll is perfect with NO DAMAGE AND NO REPAIR.
She has a superb bisque head with brown glass paperweight eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eyeshadow, and small closed mouth with pursed lips with accent line between the slight smiling lips. Her small lips are a very defining characteristic. She has applied pierced ears with cranberry earrings, and beautiful quality antique blonde mohair wig over cork pate. She is on a shapely Jumeau French body with molded bosom and a thin waist.
Marked on the back of the head, "225 Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 11"
Wearing a lush antique brown silk dress with "Bebe" pin at waist, full set of undergarments, charming bonnet, and size 13 Jumeau leather shoes.
This darling doll is very clean and from a smoke free environment.
