21" Turned Head German Bisque Doll Marked 10 circa 1880 Antique original red silk dress with lace trim.
This turned head bisque antique doll is a ABG Alt Beck & Gottschalck She is marked with a "10" on the back rim of her head. The bisque doll head has no damage and no repair.
This doll is a beautiful example with set blue glass eyes, upper and lower painted lashes, open mouth with teeth, brushstroke eyebrows, and accented eye corners and nostrils. She has a sweet little dimpled chin. Her antique original blond mohair wig is wonderful with it's original sausage curls still in place.
This charming doll is on an antique kid leather body with lower bisque arms. The bisque arms have individually molded fingers and there is no damage or repair on the fingers.
Her kid leather body has a couple of small patches here and there that you can see in the photos. This doll dress is original and is really lovely, it is made of vibrant red silk with lace detailing at the bodice and a dainty lace bonnet.
She has a full set of antique cotton undies and black socks and shoes. This doll is clean and from a smoke free environment. circa 1880
