21 Inch Antique Franz Schmidt Character Toddler Doll 1295 F.S. & C German Bisque c.1915
What a cutie pie! This antique German bisque character was made by Simon Halbig for the Franz Schmidt Company. The back of the head is marked 1295 F.S. & C. made in Germany.
This doll has lovely peaches and cream bisque with rosy cheeks, an open mouth with two upper teeth, upper and lower painted eyelashes, brushstroke eyebrows, pierced nostrils, and accented eye corners. She has a long blond human hair wig. Doll is on her ball jointed toddler wood and composition body with side-hip jointing. Body has the original finish and is in very good condition.
She wears an antique white cotton dress accented with a antique brooch, antique cotton pantaloons and slip. She is very proud of her fancy ruffled bonnet of silk and lace. White socks and leatherette shoes complete her outfit.
CONDITION: No damage and no repair. Original body and body finish. This cutie is very clean and from a smoke free environment with no problems.
