23.5 inch German Bisque Fritz Bierschenk Toddler Character Antique Doll F 3 B c.1910 Adorable!
Fritz Bierschenk of Sonneberg, Germany, made this remarkable 23.5 inch Character doll circa 1910. She is in excellent condition with perfect bisque head incised, F 3 B Germany, on original sturdy composition slant hip toddler body with original finish.
The gorgeous doll has blue intaglio eyes, flyaway brows, rosy cheeks, dimpled chin and smiling open-closed mouth with laughter lines and a lot of charm.
A light chocolate brown side part antique mohair wig with sausage curls covers a solid dome head with brush stroked painted hair. We love her as a little girl !
A cheerful and huggable girl wearing antique white cotton dress with sash and a matching bow in her hair. Her antique dress is tucked & embroidered fluffy dress with large lace Bertha collar, floral-eyelet petticoat, another petticoat with tucks and dainty eyelet at the hem, cotton slip with tiny embroidered pink flowers. Pantalets in soft muslin have lace hems, cotton knit stockings and taupe leather oxford shoes complete her costume. What an appealing little child!! No damage and no repair.
