18 Inch 1937 Composition Madame Alexander Scarlett OHara Doll Original Clothes
Beautiful 18 inch composition Madame Alexander Scarlett OHara from 1937. Released by the Alexander Company before the movie came out in 1939 Scarlett was one of their most popular dolls for many decades. With her green sleep eyes and original black wig she is the perfect representation of Scarlett OHara. Her eyes feature brush lashes painted lower lashes and eye shadow below fine brown brows. There is only the slightest amount of crazing that you have to look very closely to find.
Overall, this doll is in very good condition marked MME ALEXANDER on the back of her head. There is fading and discoloring to her dress as you can see from the photos. The fine straw picture hat is in good condition with replaced ribbon and added vintage flowers.
She wears her original pantalettes and hoop skirt rayon socks and original green side snap shoes with a bow on top showing some damage.
Please look closely at all photos. From a smoke free environment. Circa 1937
