A darling rare little charmer is this 15 inches with Pouty closed mouth and glass eyed Character Toddler. A very rare mold number 8429 by Gebruder Heubach on original jointed toddler body, dress and slip. Her perfect bisque head is incised 8429 5 Heubach square mark 41 Germany.
No damage and no repair on her German bisque head. Her sweet face has grey blue glass sleep eyes surrounded by the finely painted lashes under fly away feathered brows, cheeks are plump and rosy, mouth is closed and pouty, her blond mohair wig is coiled over the ears and is nice and full.
The composition and wood body is creamy peach with original paint and finish, jointed at shoulders, elbows, wrists, slant hips with jointed knee. A few craze lines and a split in the paint on side of one lower leg.
Factory made organdy dress is trimmed in dainty lace, with no tears or repairs, and factory slip; she wears panties, vintage red striped socks with matching red bow in hair and leather ankle tie shoes to complete her costume; from a non smoking environment. Circa 1914.
