PAIR of 7 and Antique German Bisque Armand Marseille and Recknagel Googly Dolls CUTE.
This pair of Googly dolls are not made by the same manufacturer but they are so absolutely dear and cute together, we couldn't bear to split them up. They both measure 7 inches tall.
The boy is made by Armand Marseille and marked with what looks like, 327 A.11 0 M. Absolutely adorable with molded intaglio side glancing eyes and painted character features, closed smiling watermelon mouth, and molded side part hair with young child like molded curls. He has a jointed and molded 5 piece composition or papier mache body with molded white socks and painted brown shoes with gold buckles. Wearing a antique one piece cotton plain romper that matches his sister. The girl is made by Recknagel and marked with "R 46 A. She also has side glancing intaglio blue eyes, he is looking at her and she is trying to see if he is looking at her. Blue headband painted in her molded hair, smiling closed mouth, and rosy cheeks and character brows. On her original jointed composition or papier mache body with molded socks and painted light pink shoes. Both dolls look so perfect together. Both dolls are free of damage or repairs or repaint and are from a smoke free environment. Made in Germany, circa 1909.
