13-inch by 8-inch antique piano baby is by Gerbruder Heubach, Germany, circa 1900. From the molded frilled bonnet to the sculpting of the fingers and toes. The child has side glancing intaglio painted eyes, an open mouth with molded teeth and rosy cheeks. Please look at all the photos closely to see the details of this marvelous child piano baby. Although rarely found, Heubach also made a doll head of this sculpt. There is a small chip on one of the strings of the bow on the bonnet. The color is more like a seafoam green.
