Not only is it hard to find one of these striking Snowstorm pattern bowls by Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. but I've never seen or read about another one with a 9 inch diameter! (The largest listed bowls of this type are 7 inches in diameter.) The rubina glass features a white craquelle/crackle overlay (which creates the snowstorm effect) and the distinctively crimped rim with an applied white glass edge. It was produced around 1886 and is a little over 3 inches deep. After nearly 125 years of life it remains in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or other damage.
The bowl will be shipped via USPS Priority mail with insurance. International customers, please inquire about availability and cost of insured shipping to your location.
