Maker and Age: most likely Stevens & Williams (English); late 1800s
Details: A fascinating hand blown opalescent glass finger bowl shading from subtle hues of blue to clear. Ten optic ribs in the sides of the bowl culminate in the very interesting rim featuring sixteen tightly folded pleats. "7." is etched in the bottom of the bowl, which is ground and polished flat, a characteristic more common with the English makers as opposed to the Bohemian makers' practice of more often indenting the bottom surfaces , thus limiting the inevitable wear to the outer edges.
Dimensions: 3 inches high X 4.5 inches in diameter
Condition: Excellent! The clarity of the glass is outstanding.
Shipping: The bowl will be shipped via USPS Priority mail with insurance. International customers, please inquire about availability and cost of insured shipping to your location.
