Maker and Age: European or American; late 1800s
Details: The striking quality demonstrated in the smooth shading of the glass color from cranberry to clear is the mark of a highly skilled glass maker, most likely among those in one of the highest quality glass houses. The bubbles placed in precise locations while the glass was hot also requires outstanding expertise.
The deep ribs and scalloped, petal-like rim complete the overall design. On the bottom of the vase the ribs are ground and polished flat to form a level base and the pontil in the center is also ground and polished.
Dimensions: 7.5 inches high X 4.5 inches in diameter
Condition: Excellent!
Shipping: The vase will be shipped via USPS Priority mail with insurance. International customers, please inquire about availability and cost of insured shipping to your location.
