1880s Moser Heavily Enameled Card Receiver, Footed
Maker and Age: Moser (Bohemian); 1880s
Details: An exquisite Moser hand blown card receiver distinguished by its unusual jack-in-the-pulpit shape and the elaborate hand enameling covering the inside surface -- white flowers surrounded by gold gilt and yellow-gold foliage, scrolls and scalloped border.
The three applied feet are covered in gold gilt enameling. The pontil on the bottom is ground and polished. A beautiful example of Moser craftmanship and decorating.
Dimensions: 2.5 inches high X 5.75 inches in diameter
Condition: Excellent! The clarity of the glass is outstanding. There is a bit of wear to the narrow gold gilt band encircling the rim.
