Maker and Age: Harrach (Bohemian); late 1800s
Details: A very interesting bowl which became popular in the second part of the 1800s as server for fruit cocktail -- hand blown in clear glass with sides crimped inward to form four lobes and color achieved by applying an expertly placed pattern of light blue glass swirls. Quite remarkable.
In addition a hand enameled pattern of four colorful flowers with foliage encircles the outside of the bowl with a small bouquet of tiny white flowers decorating the inside center of the bowl. The rim is fire polished and the pontil on the bottom is ground and polished.
Dimensions: 2.5 inches high X 5.25 inches in diameter
Shipping: The bowl will be shipped via USPS Priority mail with insurance. International customers, please inquire about availability and cost of insured shipping to your location.
