Maker & Age: Roseville Pottery Company; early 1900s

Details: Roseville's Uncle Sam bank features the subject's beard and head in a glossy tan glaze topped by his signature top hat in gray-green. Considering its long life, still remaining in great condition, it very likely started life as a salesman sample from a canvassing kit that was carried from household to household for potential customers to view.

Dimensions: 4.5" high X 3" wide X 3.25" front to back

Condition: Very nice -- a bit of damage to the slot (possibly from coin removal attempts) and there's an unglazed spot on the rim of Uncle Sam's hat where a bubble in the clay burst during manufacture, leaving the clay unglazed

Shipping: The bank will be shipped via USPS Priority mail with insurance. International customers, please inquire about availability and cost of insured shipping to your location.
