An English silverplated kettle-on-stand with burner, ebonized wooden handle and knob. Date letter for 1889. Maker Elkington & Company, Birmingham. Light wear to the nickel on the high points and some wear to the interior, along with a dent on the lower reeded body of kettle and another small dent on rim of stand. The kettle-on-stand measures 10 5/8 inches high to tip of handle, 9 inches across the spout, and the kettle alone is approximately 6 ½ inches in diameter at its widest point.
