A highly decorative pair of Japanese bronze censers/koros, probably circa 1900, Meiji period. The bodies are decorated with panels depicting birds among flowering branches. Each body is supported on three slender legs rising from a circular base. The censers are 6 ¾ inches high to tip of handles, have a 2 ¼ inch diameter opening, and a 3 1/16 inch diameter base. Condition: Covers are missing and one handle shows an old repair.
