A fine, early Spode bat-printed slop bowl decorated with fruit in grisaille tones and gilt trim, circa 1810. Both designs are illustrated in Spode Printed Ware by David Drakard and Paul Holdway (plate numbers 186 and 193. Bowl has a 6 1/8 inch diameter and is 3 inches high.
