A very fine and early George II sterling silver coffee pot of lighthouse form with reeded foot, outer hinged dome cover with orb-shaped finial, and original harp-shaped pearwood handle; the period rococo cartouche with crest of three boar heads. Hallmarked London 1738. Maker Humphrey Payne. Height 7 5/8 inches; diameter of base 3 ½ inches. Weight 430 grams. Condition: We are relisting this lovely pot after repairing the base of the handle, which held, but was loose. It is in very fine condition.
