Impressive, rare three-piece silverplate table garniture or dessert stands, each crested with a rooster and the motto "Gloria Patri," of the Dewar family. It is rare to find the larger stand with its two smaller mates; usually we see sets of two smaller stands. Maker Thomas Bradbury & Sons circa 1860. Large stand is 17 ½ inches high with triangular base of approximately 9 ¼ inches. Two smaller stands are 11 ¼ inches high with triangular bases of approximately 9 inches. Condition: very good; all are missing their cut-glass bowls (which are often replacements).
