A pair of Adams late 18th century-style English Silverplated (electro plate on nickel) candlesticks. Heights 11 1/8 inches and 11 3/8 inches respectively. Bases are 4 ¾ inches by 4 ¾ inches, with beaded decoration and sloped shoulders; tapered and fluted stems and sconces and beaded removable bobèches. One bizzle marked EPGS and MH/& Co. in shield for Martin Hall & Company, Sheffield (1854-1860). Condition: some minor wear to nickel commensurate with age. As these sticks are electro plate on nickel, the red hue in our photos is from the lighting.
