A pair of sterling open salt cellars, the bodies engraved with vertical leaves and crest of five plumes out of a mural coronet. Each cellar stands on three ball feet. Hallmarked London 1874 and 1876. Maker Ephraim Tysall. Diameter 2 1/8 inches; height 1 ½ inches. Together with two 2 5/8 inch long feather-edged salt spoons; hallmarked Sheffield 1928. Maker Mappin & Webb. Total weight of cellars and spoons 116 grams. Condition: excellent. See item 101901 for a matching pair.
