A fabulous English sterling punch ladle with silver-tipped, twisted and curved baleen handle, circa 1780. The bowl was made from a coin and is an oval with milled edge and embossed with branches and grape clusters around a rayed center. Unmarked as was usual. Crested with the Riddell family motto – Row and Retake. Length 14 inches. Condition: excellent.
