19th Century Pair of French 950 Silver Salt Cellars with Clear Glass Liners & Shovel-shaped Spoons
Gorgeous French Louis XVI design salt cellars with original clear glass liners with star cut bases, circa 1880. Inner frames are gilt. Maker: D.R. Minerva mark for 950 silver. Length 3 inches; width 2 1/8 inches; height 1 ¾ inches. Weight of silver frames 93 grams. We have included two French 950 silver salt spoons that are not original to the cellars but look great with them. Length 3 ¼ inches. Weight of pair 7 grams. Condition: gilt is mostly gone from spoons' bowls otherwise excellent.
