A fabulous piece of Old Sheffield Plate – a circular entrée dish with gadrooned rim and high, domical cover with reeded footrim and scrolled handle, circa 1810. Dish rests on a circular wirework stand on four bun feet. Ornate armorial on let-in shield. Diameter 10 7/8 inches. Height of dish 2 inches; height to handle tip 8 ¼ inches. Condition: Rapairs to handle; stand missing its burner.
