This fine collection of Dorthy Lathrop works includes 11 books, many of them signed by Ms. Lathrop and inscribed to Lily Bell Rhodes, 7 cards or book plates, inscribed and signed, a pastel portrait of Lily Bell by Ms. Lathrop 9 ½ inches by 12 3/8 inches, a wood-cut self-portrait with monkey "Jaspa and Me" signed and presented, 13 inches by 9 ½ inches, and a wood cut Pekinese 8 ¾ inches by 11 ¼ inches. Collection dates from the 1920s to the mid-1950s, and is from the estate of Lily Bell Rhodes, of Quebec City, granddaughter of Sir James MacPherson Lemoine, Canadian author and barrister.
