Here I am offering a very cute doll with hard to find painted flat shoes & scalloped socks. I have always been attracted to these but have enough so will offer this little cutie. She is only 6 1/2" tall with lovely fine bisque head with brown sleep eyes circa 1900. The eye wax in very good too. She has an open mouth with tiny teeth, painted upper & lower lashes & pierced ears even! Her head is marked 199 2/0 Germany. No hairlines, chips or cracks to the bisque. I believe she is by German maker Heinrich Handwerck. Her original wig is brown mohair with pate attached. It is a little sparse but cute. The tiny ball jointed body is loose so may need restringing. There is a lot of wear to the joints especially the ball at the top of the right leg that has lost most of its paint. The saggy butt on this little one is so charming! What makes her so special are her little flat one strap painted shoes & painted black scalloped socks. Wears a replaced finely crocheted dress, panties & hat. She is just a little darling that would compliment any collection.
