Here is a mystery doll in need of some tlc. It measures approx. 14" tall with bisque head marked 69 over 3. Not sure of the maker. Head looks German but body has some characteristics of French. She has brown sleep eyes, open mouth with five teeth. The eyes have wear to the wax & one is a little loose. There is a black firing line flaw on the side of the head in the making. There is a rough area on the inner edge of the opening. Some loss of color too. The body has a lot of chipping, cracks & wear. It has straight wrists with one finger missing. The torso is taped for inserting a mama crier. There is a hole on her side also where the string should be. I believe this body would be appropriate for a “belton” type doll. Sold as found condition for repair or parts.
