A charming American trunk with iron handles, hinges and latches was crafted of pine about 1890. Hand cut dovetails are visible under the scraped painted finish, preserved with clear varnish.
A latched compartment under the lid is lined with an old "Gold Medal Flour" sack, see photos.
Size is 36" wide, 16" deep and 19" tall.
