A hall bench from the 1890's was hand carved of solid quarter sawn oak.
Deeply sculpted, the seat has been revarnished for durability, the rest of the finish is original and has been waxed and buffed, preserving mars and wear for a little antique character. All that is needed to maintain the patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
American made furniture, the seat lifts to a large storage compartment.
Size is 48" wide, 19" deep, 37" tall and the seat is 17" high.
