An armoire, wardrobe or closet is from the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1890. Solid elm hardwood, there is delicate incised "spoon" or chip carving of the era.
The restored satiny finish is in excellent condition, preserving just enough stains and mars for a little antique character. American made antique furniture, this armoire disassembles for easier delivery.
Drawers have dovetailed joints, solid brass hardware is of the period and locks and keys work. The interior is empty and 15 1/2" deep, shelves or a closet pole could be installed as desired.
Measurements are 49 1/2" wide at the crown, 19" deep and 80 1/2" tall.
