Carved about 1890 in Holland of solid fine grained oak with inlaid ebony from the Dutch East Indies, this imposing dining, writing or library table has pull out leaves at both ends.
The trestle base shows Renaissance influence and has been reglued to serve another generation. The renewed finish is in excellent condition on this Dutch antique furniture.
Dimensions are 39 1/2" wide, 30 1/2" tall and 59" long when closed, with both draw leaves extended, length is 8' 10" overall. The apron or skirt underneath is recessed 5" and is 22 1/2" high.
