A magnificent Neoclassical china cabinet was crafted for a villa in northern Italy in the 1930's. Shaped burl columns carved Ionic capitals. Hand carved friezes have contrasting ebonized moldings.
The mirror back has etched stars, door glass is reverse carved with remarkable enamel and mirror designs. The gleaming finish is original, the top is re-varnished for durability on this luxurious vintage furniture.
The inside is lit and there are some chips to the shaped glass shelves, see photo.
