From the Victorian period in the 1890's, a nine drawer file was built to hold lenses for an eye doctor, it could also be a collector's cabinet or jewelry chest is solid walnut.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving stains, mars and losses at the edges for antique character, see photos. Knobs and embossed numbers are original, but make no sense to us.
Drawers are 1 1/2" deep and have various removable dividers. Overall size is 22 /12" wide, 17" deep and 30" tall.
