A traditional Dutch tobacco cupboard was hand hewn of solid oak in the mid 1700's. Exposed mortise joints, hand cut dovetails and planing marks are authentic on this antique furniture from Holland.
The lock and key still work and there is a wrought iron hanging loop. Waxed and buffed, the mellow old finish is very well preserved, all that is needed to maintain its warm luster is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
Measurements are 22" wide, 12" deep and 22 1/2" tall.
