A dramatic walnut nightstand or pedestal table with convex panels and a shaped marble top was hand carved in France about 1900. The lavish crest has flower and shell motifs on this elegant furniture.
Revarnished for durability, the lustrous finish is in excellent condition with a few mars and uneven spots for antique character.
Diamond matched panels, curved sides and graceful moldings are beautiful. The marble has been polished and sealed to resist stains. A drop front door opens to a marble lined compartment with some cracks and stains, see photos. The small drawer has hand cut dovetail joints on this historic furniture.
Measurements are 17" wide, 16" deep and 32" tall.
