Hand carved of solid teak, the function of this hand press is unknown, possibly drugs, spices or cheese.
The handle lifts off, a rectangular piece with a pierced iron screen is also removable. Age and origin are also unknown. Hand chisel marks are visible and the warm finish has great patina, joints have hand cut nails. Size is 12" long, 9" wide and 13" tall.
